Five days after the state rejected plans for the dissolution of the Palmyra-Eagle School District, three of the seven members on the school board have submitted resignations.
Board president Scott Hoff, vice president Tara Bollman and clerk Carrie Ollis made it official at the end of Tuesday’s regular meeting.
Hoff says one of the reasons he is stepping down is the announcement that a member of a citizens group will give $100,000 dollars in matching donations to the district if the board members would give up their seats.
Three replacements will be appointed in the next 60 days.
