Wisconsin women’s basketball coach Jonathan Tsipis adds some depth to his lineup with the return to action of redshirt junior Courtney Fredrickson.
She has missed 14 months with an injured knee. The six-foot-two athlete averaged 7.7 points and almost five rebounds-a-game during her first two seasons.
Tsipis says she will offer some bench strength behind post players Imani Lewis and Abby Laszewski as well as providing a perimeter scoring threat on the wing.
Fredrickson could have sat out the rest of this season and applied for a sixth year of eligibility, but she wanted to get back on the court.
