Wisconsin is one of five Big Ten Conference teams ranked in top-17 of the “Way Too Early” 2020 College Football Poll.
Despite losing the national championship game this week, Clemson is ranked number-one and perennial power Alabama number-two.
Ohio State is picked third. Even though the Badgers are losing superstar running back Jonathan Taylor, top receiver Quintez Cephus and their best offensive lineman Tyler Biadasz, they’re still picked number-17.
Success in the 2020 season for Wisconsin may be determined during a four-week stretch starting September 19th against Appalachian State, followed by Michigan, Notre Dame and Minnesota.
Also in the poll: 9-Penn State, 12-Minnesota, 14-Michigan.
