The Racine Unified School District put Park High School on lockdown Tuesday afternoon after a man was shot at a nearby golf course.
The victim’s name hasn’t been released, but he was treated at a hospital for a leg wound and he is expected to recover.
Police say the shooting incident didn’t happen on school property.
Students and staff were briefly held inside the school for safety.
Racine police have announced no arrests in the shooting.
