K9 Neko continues to faithfully serve his community, as he helped the Manitowoc Police locate methamphetamine in a vehicle.
An officer pulled over the vehicle, being driven by a 35-year-old Manitowoc woman, just after 3:00 AM Sunday morning, after a run of the plates revealed that there were several unpaid parking tickets linked to it.
The officer recognized the woman as the possible owner of a drug house, so K9 Neko was called to perform a sniff search.
Neko came back with a positive hit, and methamphetamine and several items of drug paraphernalia were found in the vehicle.
The woman is facing charges of Possession of Meth, and Drug Paraphernalia, as well as one count of Felony Bail Jumping.
