Nearly 80,000 fans packed Lambeau Field last night to watch the Packer’s first playoff game in 3 years, and they did not leave disappointed.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers found his favorite target, wide receiver Davante Adams, eight times for 160 yards and two touchdowns in Green Bay’s 28-23 Divisional Round win over Seattle Sunday night.
Green Bay led at halftime 21-3, then watched former Wisconsin Badgers quarterback Russell Wilson lead the Seahawks on a comeback attempt.
Wilson was sacked five times – two each by Preston and Za’Darius Smith, with Kenny Clark picking up the 5th.
Aaron Jones was held in check, only rushing for 62 yards but he did scored Green Bay’s other two touchdowns in goal line situations.
The victory puts the Packers in the N-F-C title game against the San Francisco 49ers – a team that beat Green Bay handily during the regular season.
That game will be held in San Francisco next Sunday at 5:40 PM, while the Kansas City Chiefs will play host to the Tennesee Titans, who shockingly dominated the Baltimore Ravens, at 2:05 PM on Sunday.
