An 11-year-old Wisconsin boy with brain cancer died on New Year’s Day while taking a trip to the Lego Store at the Mall of America in Minnesota.
The trip was provided by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Mikey Choroszy’s family says they knew time was running out, but they didn’t think he would be unable to complete the trip.
They say he was “doing really good” Monday while shopping, then declined very quickly and died two days later.
