Going a month without a game has apparently had no effect on the Wisconsin women’s hockey team.
An overtime power-play goal by Caitlin Schneider gave the Badgers a 4-3 win over Northeastern Sunday in the championship game of the Battle at the Burgh in Pittsburgh.
That gave number-one ranked Wisconsin a weekend sweep after knocking off Robert Morris Saturday 3-1.
Making the all-tournament team were Mekenzie Steffen, Kristen Campbell and Daryl Watts.
The Badgers return to conference action Friday at Bemidji State.
