Houston Texans head coach Bill O’Brien says he plans to use three-time N-F-L Defensive Player of the Year J-J Watt “quite a lot” in Saturday’s A-F-C wild-card game against Buffalo.
Watt has missed half of the season with an injury.
O’Brien says the Wisconsin native is needed if the Texans are going to beat the Bills.
Defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel is a little more conservative, saying he’s going to ease Watt into the action with pass-rushing duties.
With Watt missing eight games, Houston had 31 sacks this season, besting only five other teams.
The Texans were also in the bottom-10 for tackles-for-loss.
