Milwaukee police say the man wanted for killing a one-year-old boy on the city’s north side turned himself in Thursday morning.
That man’s name hasn’t been released.
Authorities had immediately called the death of Alonzo Marqueonzo Lamar Junior “suspicious” after responding to a call Wednesday evening.
The suspect claimed the child had fallen, but the grandmother of the boy called “A-J” said it looked like he had been beaten.
The victim’s mother told police her former boyfriend was watching the child while she was at work.
