Marquette has opened its Big East Conference schedule with a disappointing 92-75 loss at Creighton.
Creighton was basically in control of the action most of the way, snapping the Eagles’ five-game winning streak.
The Bluejays held Markus Howard to 18 points while picking up their 12th win in 14 games.
Howard, Sacar Anim and Brandan Bailey led the Golden Eagles with 18 apiece.
Marquette’s record falls to 10-and-3.
It doesn’t get any easier for Marquette, with Villanova visiting the Fiserv Forum for another conference game Saturday afternoon.
