Wisconsin’s attorney general says his office has made-good on helping nearly 300 people get their money back from a couple of businesses who stepped over the line.
Attorney General Josh Kaul on Tuesday announced settlements with a southeast Wisconsin landlord who overcharged 229 people on their leases or security deposits.
Kaul also announced an agreement with an alarm company that he says sold people alarm systems that came packed with fees and could not be canceled.
In all, the Attorney General says his office got back nearly 130-thousand-dollars in the two cases.
