Friends and family are raising money for a Merrill family who lost everything in a house fire.
A Go Fund Me page has been set up for three victims that were transported to the U-W Madison burn unit and where they face months of care and rehab.
The goal was to raise eight-thousand dollars to help the family start over and it was nearly met in three days.
The fire broke out early on December 19th in the Town of Merrill, and officials suspect it may have been caused by a smoking materials.
The home was considered a total loss.
