
Marquette scored more than half of its points outside the 3-point arc in a 93-72 home win against Grambling State Tuesday night.
The Golden Eagles connected on 16 3-pointers to claim their eighth win in 10 games.
Markus Howard hit a half-dozen on the way to a game-high 26 points, while Sacar Anim added 18 points.
The teams were tied at 23-apiece when Anim’s 3-pointer started a 19-4 run for the Eagles.
Their unselfish play was shown by a season-high 27 assists on 29 field goals.
Marquette plays host to North Dakota State Friday night.
