More than two-million dollars in federal funding is coming to southeastern Wisconsin to help officials deal with the opioid crisis.
The money is part of a 333-million-dollar U-S Department of Justice nationwide program.
In Milwaukee, Waukesha and Washington counties, it will be used to help public safety and public health professionals combat substance abuse and respond effectively to overdoses.
The money will help different agencies coordinator their efforts ane expand services for youths who are impacted.
