A Marinette County judge has bound a 60-year-old woman over for trial on charges of hiding a corpse, failing to report a death and obstructing an officer.
Paula Bergold says her 98-year-old mother died of natural causes, but she hid the body because she didn’t know what would happen to the dead woman’s money.
Bergold says she needed it to live on.
A January 6th arraignment was scheduled for Bergold during a Wednesday court appearance.
