A group of residents questioning plans for the expansion of a landfill in the Town of Seymour says it will hire an attorney.
Those residents have been told the work at the 7-Mile Creek Landfill won’t affect property values, but they say they’re worried because contract negotiations are almost complete and they still have a lot of questions.
State Representative Jesse James and State Senator Jeff Smith are calling for the town board to step up.
A final public meeting on the question is scheduled for mid-January and the final negotiations will be held the next day.
