Manitowoc Public Utilities is ready to take your old Christmas lights, and replace them with new LED lights.
The Holiday Lighting Exchange is taking place today from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM at their office at 1303 South 8th Street.
MPU Customers are invited to bring in their old incandescent bulbs in exchange for up to three strings of LED bulbs. They will also exchange screw in bulbs as well, but tube lights will not be accepted.
MPU is also reminding people to be safe this holiday season. Inspect your lights for any bad portions of the wiring, and for any broken bulbs.
