Appleton Police investigated a threat to Appleton North High School.
Officers were informed of the threat at around 5:00 yesterday evening and were told that the threat was issued over the popular photo-sharing app, Snapchat.
An investigation determined that the message originated from outside the U.S. and that the threat was not credible.
Students were already on edge due to a student reportedly bringing two pellet guns to Waukesha South High School and aiming them at a school resource officer, and the incident where a student stabbed a resource officer at Oshkosh West High School.
Both students were shot, but are in stable condition, while the stabbed officer is also going to be ok.
