Oshkosh police say a school resource officer and the student he shot Tuesday are expected to survive their injuries.
The Tuesday incident at Oshkosh West High School was the third involving a weapon at a Wisconsin school in the last two days.
The S-R-O says the 16-year-old entered his office, produced what is being called an edged weapon and stabbed the officer. He shot the student once.
The Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation is handling the case.
