Madison police say they are trying to track down a suspicious man who spoke to a couple of students at an elementary school last week.
Witnesses say the man threw pieces of candy on the ground near those students.
A staff member at Orchard Ridge Elementary School walked the students back into the building. The man reportedly then tried to enter the school, but he left after discovering the door was locked.
The suspect is described as black, wearing a tan trench coat, a Green Bay Packers winter hat, and carrying metal crutches.
