A challenger for the seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court held by Justice Dan Kelly has suggested the incumbent is corrupt.
Kelly is a part of the high court’s conservative majority.
Jill Karofsky says Kelly repeatedly rules in favor of conservative groups, adding to the perception that the justices have their minds made up before anyone offers an argument in a case.
Karofsky made the allegations during the candidate’s first debate Tuesday.
Kelly answered, saying she views cases through a political lens and he applies the law logically.
