Wisconsin’s governor didn’t get what he wanted when he called a special legislative session to talk about gun control. Now, Democrat Tony Evers says he has no immediate plans to try that again.
Republicans gaveled the first special session into order, but immediately gaveled it out and left the room.
Evers would like to see universal background checks and a red-flag law on the books in Wisconsin. Republicans worry that would violate the Second Amendment.
