Construction of what Kroger calls a fulfillment warehouse in Pleasant Prairie means up to 400 permanent jobs for southeastern Wisconsin. The 350-thousand-square-foot automated warehouse will serve Wisconsin, northern Illinois and northwestern Indiana.
A similar facility in Ohio is valued at 55-million dollars, though numbers haven’t been attached to this project yet.
Despite the new construction, distribution warehouses in Oconomowoc and Mazomanie won’t be affected.
