The Marquette Golden Eagles (1-0) host Purdue of the Big Ten Conference as a part of the Gavitt Tipoff Games.
Big East schools are meeting Big Ten schools. The Golden Eagles will have to deal with a Boilermaker front line that features 7-foot-3 center Matt Haarms and six-nine, 270-pound Trevion Williams. Marquette seven-footer Jayce Johnson is still out with a sprained knee.
Purdue (1-1) will be trying to bounce back from a 70-66 loss to Texas Saturday.
