The Packers won by about six inches. After getting pushed around for much of the game, the Packers defense stopped Carolina less than a yard from a potential game-tying touchdown as time ran out Sunday, giving the Pack a 24-16 win.
M-V-P candidate Christian McCaffery was so close to the goal line with no time left minutes were spent reviewing the play to make sure he didn’t get in.
Aaron Rodgers connected on 17-of-29 passes for 233 yards, seven of those completions to Davante Adams for 118 yards. Aaron Jones rushed for 93 yards, and all three Green Bay touchdowns, while Jamal Williams galloped for 63 yards.
The (8-2) Packers will take some time off for their bye week, then back to action November 24th at San Francisco.
