Badgers running back Jonathan Taylor rushed for a season-high 250 yards in Wisconsin’s 24-22 win over Iowa Saturday.
Taylor gouged the Hawkeye defense for 135 yards in the fourth quarter alone. Wisconsin wide receiver Danny Davis ran for one touchdown and caught a scoring pass as his team ended a two-game losing streak.
Wisconsin’s fourth straight win over Iowa keeps the Heartland trophy in Madison. Quarterback Jack Coan completed 16-of-25 passes for 173 yards and two scores. After the win, the (7-2, 4-2 Big Ten) Badgers moved up to 15th in the Associated Press Top-25 Football poll.
They play at Nebraska next weekend.
