A select number of high school football teams tonight will be seeking a berth in the State Semifinals.
One of those is Kiel in Division-4, where the Purple Raiders play-host to the Berlin Indians. Kiel enters the action with an 11-and-0 mark, while the visiting Indians from the East Central Conference have fashioned a 9-&-2 record. You can hear the Division-4, level-3 playoff game on local radio 980 AM WCUB, beginning at 6:40.
In Division-1: the unbeaten and top-seeded Bay Port Pirates host 2nd seeded Marquette of Milwaukee, a team that ousted Manitowoc Lincoln from the post-season in the opening round.
In Division-7 tonight: #1 seeded Hilbert has a home game with ‘2’ seed Lourdes Academy, while in D-‘3, Plymouth travels to #1 seeded New Berlin Eisenhower.
In Division-5: ‘3’-seed Chilton will make the trip to top-seeded Amherst.
