Manitowoc Lincoln High School Graduate and Sophomore at Luther College in Decorah Iowa, Rebekah Lazzeroni has earned a scholarship intended to help her study abroad.
Lazzeroni is one of three students in her class to earn the $1,000 academic reward.
She is majoring in accounting and doesn’t actually have any plans to study abroad at this time, but she says she would like to return to Europe. She had been to the continent with the Luther College Symphony Orchestra previously, visiting Vienna, Austria.
Lazzeroni said that she is “most excited for the chance to have more time to explore and learn new things and meet the people involved.”
The scholarships were awarded on October 30th at the school’s Sophomore Study Away Scholarship Giveaway.
