A Milwaukee man isn’t very happy after getting a 16-hundred dollar bill from the city for a utility pole which was knocked down last year.
Jamel Tate suffered serious injuries when a police squad car going the wrong way on a one-way street slammed into his vehicle. The force of the impact pushed Tate’s car into the utility pole, knocking it over.
The city says he is responsible for replacing the pole because he failed to yield to the police car – which was reportedly exceeding the speed limit when the crash happened.
