Municipalities and Counties across the state are currently putting the finishing touches on their budgets for next year, and the City of Two Rivers is no different. A part of any good budget is the inclusion of road reconstruction money, and Two Rivers has announced which roads they plan on fixing up next year.
According to City Manager Greg Buckley in his November Newsletter, the streets the City plans to rebuild include 24th Street, from Forest Avenue to Jefferson, 25th Street, from Forest Avenue to West River Street, and Madison Street, from 19th to 22nd Streets. The work will include the addition of new underground utilities and a new street surface.
Details will become available once final decisions have been made on funding for these projects, which are estimated to cost around $3.4 million.
