A Manitowoc woman will be spending three and a half years in prison, in conjunction with an Ozaukee County case, for her involvement in the death of a 19-year-old Two Rivers man back in 2017. Following her stint in prison, she will be on four and a half years of extended supervision.
20-year-old Kyla M. Hanstedt was arrested after it was determined that she delivered the methamphetamine to the man which ultimately took his life. A witness in the case told officials that she saw the transaction take place, and saw the victim use the drugs the night before his death.
Hanstedt was found guilty of felony homicide, and delivery of a controlled substance, and will remain on extended supervision following the conclusion of her prison sentence.
