Madison Police Arrest A Man Claiming To Be Secret Service Agent

A nearby couple intervened Monday night when a man claiming to be a Secret Service agent grabbed a woman by the arm.  Police say 42-year-old D’Andre White ordered the woman to put her phone down and walk with him.  The incident was reported as an armed robbery, so the Madison police immediately searched surveillance video in the area along State Street and White was quickly found.  He was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and violating his probation.  The 21-year-old woman wasn’t harmed.
