Work To Dismantle House About To Fall Into Lake Michigan Starts Today

Work crews will begin to dismantle a three-story house about to fall into Lake Michigan today (Wednesday).  The structure hanging over a cliff in Kenosha County has been in danger of falling into the lake for the last year-and-a-half.  Its back porch has already collapsed.  Storms and high lake levels and worn away at the bluff where it sits.  Equipment problems and bad weather have delayed the work.
