The City of Manitowoc Personnel Committee will be gathering in the Council Chambers in City Hall this evening.
At their 6:00 PM meeting, the Committee will discuss a resolution to approve offering a $500 sign-on bonus for newly hired part-time Transit Drivers next year. The proposal includes a pro-rated payback if the new hire doesn’t stay on the job for at least a year.
The Committee will then enter a closed session to conduct transit contract negotiations with Teamsters Local Number 662. The public will be given time to voice their comments at the beginning of the meeting.
