The City of Sheboygan really worked fast on their budget for next year. Recently the Committee of the Whole recommended that the City Council pass the budget at their meeting today.
The budget reportedly decreased from this year’s down to $114.2 million. A big reason for that is the $7 million saved by refinancing some of the debt the city owes.
The Sheboygan County budget will also be voted on this week, but not until tomorrow. Details have not been released regarding that budget.
