Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers signed a new law recognizing a stretch of State Highway 28 as the 9/11 Memorial Highway. At the same time, work crews are building a 9/11 Memorial Education Center in Kewaskum. The designated highway runs between Interstate 41 in Dodge County and Highway 144 in Washington County. The center will be in Kewaskum because it was the home of Andrea Haberman, who died in the attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
