In Girls Volleyball, Manitowoc Lincoln will be playing for a berth in the WIAA State Tournament tomorrow night!
The Ships of Coach Mary Beth Dixon defeated the second seed in the Sectional last night out lasting Watertown in 4-sets: 25-21, 25-18, 25-27 & 25-17. After beating the Goslings at Fond du Lac, the 3rd seeded Ships get an opportunity to face #1 Oconomowoc in the Sectional Finals at West Bend East. The Raccoons swept West Bend West in 3-sets in last night’s opening Division 1 semi-final match.
In Division-3: Howards Grove also won a Sectional semi-final over Oostburg in 3-sets. With that win, the #1 seeded Tigers earn a spot in the Finals tomorrow night against Dominican of Whitefish Bay after the Knights got-past Kenosha St. Joseph. The match will be played in Kohler.
