Guards Have To Carry More Of The Load For U-W Coach Gard

The departure of all-everything Ethan Happ due to graduation means somebody has to step it up for the Wisconsin basketball team.  The Badgers host U-W-La Crosse in an exhibition game at the Kohl Center tonight (Friday).  Coach Greg Gard can be expected to lean more on his backcourt for offense.  D’Mitrik Trice can improve on last season’s 11-point-six scoring average and it’s fair to expect Brad Davison to carry more of the load.  Gard wants senior Brevin Pritzl to take more shots,  Kobe King and Trevor Anderson both have to contribute if the Badgers are to win.
