A 25-year-old Milwaukee man and a 36-year-old Sheboygan woman are in custody for their involvement in the delivery of controlled substances related to six recent drug overdose cases. Police say a 25-year-old Sheboygan woman is dead while five others survived and were either revived with Narcan on the scene or taken to a local medical facility.
Identities of the deceased or those taken into custody were not released but the 25-year-old Milwaukee man is on probation for the delivery of heroin.
The investigations are ongoing and once complete will be presented to the District Attorney’s Office for review.
In a press release, the Sheboygan Police Department said, “in the current illegal drug market users seldom get what they believe they are purchasing. The purity levels and mixture of synthetic analogs place individuals at great risk of overdose or death.”
