A man was arrested in Manitowoc yesterday for possessing Marijuana after he crashed his car into a telephone pole.
Police were called to the 2900 block of Calumet Avenue just before 10:30 p.m. to the crash and saw the vehicle smoking and leaking oil. Police made contact with the man who admitted to being the driver and report that he “exhibited a lethargic and drowsy appearance” and had “bloodshot and glossy” eyes.
The 26-year-old man was initially taken into police custody for OWI, but a search of his vehicle uncovered a vape pen that contained THC. The man admitted the pen was his and was charged with Possession of THC as a multiple-time offender.
