The U-S Fish and Wildlife Service says a highly-toxic insecticide is being used to kill pet dogs and wildlife in Bayfield, Marinette and Florence counties. Methomyl (METH oh mill) is normally used on farm fields and orchards. The federal agency is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest or the filing of charges. The chemical compound is so toxic the pet dogs died less than 30 minutes after eating it.
