Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo says if the team continues to build on its success his decision to stay when he reaches unrestricted free agency next year will be an easy one. He’d like to be with the Bucks for the rest of his career. The tone changes if the team reverts to mediocrity. Antetokounmpo says his decision then would become much harder. The final selection for the Greek Freak may ultimately be more about winning and less about dollar bills.
The Bucks are in Houston this evening to kick off the regular season. Antetokounmpo and the rest of Coach Mike Budenholzer’s crew will tip off at the Toyota Center at 7:00 PM, with coverage on 1240 AM WOMT starting at 6:30 PM. The Bucks won’t be on the Fiserv Forum hardwood until Saturday, when they host the Miami Heat in a 4:00 PM game.
