There is a strong Big Ten Conference presence in the college basketball preseason poll, but no love for the Wisconsin Badgers. Coach Greg Gard’s team got no votes earlier this week. Fellow conference member Michigan State was chosen for the number-one spot in the poll and Maryland, Ohio State and Purdue made the top-25. Wisconsin opens its regular season November 5th in a Sioux Falls tournament against 20th-ranked Saint Mary’s.
