Badgers Cross Country Standout Monson Named National Athlete Of The Week

Wisconsin’s cross country star Alicia Monson has been named the U-S Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association National Athlete of the Week.  Monson finished first at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational Friday, leading her team to its best finish in meet history.  Monson was also named the Big Ten Conference Athlete of the Week.  She is a five-time All American and the 2019 N-C-A-A Champion in the indoor five-thousand meters.
