Cher:  Getting Job Back Not Enough – Apology Needed

Singing superstar Cher says she doesn’t think it’s enough that Madison West High School security assistant Marlon Anderson gets his job back.  She tells the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel the district “should apologize to him.”  Anderson was fired for using a racial slur, although he only used the word to tell a combative student it shouldn’t be spoken.  Cher says Anderson’s termination was an injustice.  She had volunteered to pay his legal expenses if he sued the Madison Metropolitan School District.
