Even though the Green Bay Packers defense gave up more than 480 yards twice in the last three weeks, success in the red zone is paying off. The Packers “D” leads the N-F-L with four takeaways inside the 20-yard line. In Sunday’s game, Oakland had 484 total yards, converted on seven-of-11 third down plays and punted only twice. However, on six trips inside the 20, the Raiders failed to score a touchdown. That’s why Green Bay is 26th in yards allowed-per-game, but ninth in points allowed.
