Manitowoc Lincoln qualifies for the WIAA football postseason for the first time since 2014 by defeating Notre Dame Academy 37 to 0 last night at Rubick Field. The Ships are part of the 32-team Division One Field and are joined in Division One by FRCC Champion Bayport and Green Bay Preble. Division Two qualifiers include De Pere, Green Bay Southwest, and Pulaski. In Division Three Ashwaubenon, Plymouth and West De Pere qualify. The Division four field includes undefeated and EWC champion Kiel along with Denmark, Sheboygan Falls, Wrightstown, and Freedom. Division Five qualifiers include Kewaunee, New Holstein, and Chilton while Reedsville and Hilbert of the Big East are in the 32-team Division Seven field. Seeding meetings are being held this morning and the matchups for next Friday night’s first-round matchups are expected to be released later this afternoon.
