Gas prices are remaining pretty steady in Wisconsin, according to the AAA Fuel Guide. The weekly report says that the average gas price in Wisconsin is just shy of $2.50 this week, which is the same as it was a week ago, but 30 cents cheaper than last year. The Appleton price dropped from $2.795 last year to $2.438 on Sunday, while Green Bay’s pumps saw a very similar drop in price. Nationally, the average price of gas fell two cents over the past week, and 26 cents from last year. EIA reported that total domestic crude inventories grew by 2.9 million blue barrels or bbl which hold 42 gallons, to 425.6 million bbl last week. They now sit 15.6 million bbl higher than where they were at this time last year.
