Manitowoc motorists should be aware of a pair of street closures in the city this week. Greg Minikel of the Engineering department said North 5th Street, between Cleveland & New York Avenues, is scheduled to be closed to thru-traffic today.
Then, tomorrow Shorewood Boulevard from Cleveland Avenue to Hawthorne Terrace will be blocked off to traffic. Both closures are to allow for the repair/replacement of a water service and it’s expected that the streets will be reopened to motorists by the end of the workday.
